Instagram Memories reminded me that it's been 5 ye Instagram Memories reminded me that it's been 5 years since I quit the corporate world to pursue event hosting full-time! My husband has been persuading me for the longest time to just give it a shot, and it took me a few years before I finally jumped in at the deep end. Was I scared? Nope. I was terrified! I was trading stability for uncertainty. I kept thinking: "What if I don't make it?!" And Mike said "Well, what if you do?" I didn't know it back then, but the next 5 years after I handed in my resignation letter at my last office job would be some of the best and most fulfilling years of my life. I have NO REGRETS. And even if things didn't turn out the way I hoped they would, I would still feel the same. Life is short. Do what makes you feel alive. Don't be afraid to fail and make mistakes. Happy birthday to this beautiful soul who is absol Happy birthday to this beautiful soul who is absolutely and unquestionably the gold standard of friends! 🎁 One of the many things I learned last year is to never forget those who were really there for me. My best friend @christina.r.asperilla may have moved across the globe but when I needed support, she always willingly and generously gave it. I am the luckiest for having such a sweet, loyal, and amazing best friend. My family is blessed to be the recipients of your kindness and love, and they obviously love you back. (I mean, my sister teared up when you left!) I cannot imagine a world without your light in it. I hope you really do have a happy birthday. That's only fair, since you always make everyone happy! Proud of you for having the courage to step out of your comfort zone.
