Sometimes, thinking of what to eat for lunch can be a chore! No, really! If you are working and you don’t have time to prepare your own food and there are no good and affordable dining options around your workplace, what do you do? The easiest alternative would be to walk to the nearest fast food joint for a quick (and cheap) meal. That’s fine every now and then, but if one of your goals is to start eating and living healthy, then having junk food for lunch all the time isn’t the best choice.
If there is a Figaro close to your workplace, then you’re in luck, because today, they are launching their new Executive Lunch Sets!
ABOUT FIGARO
If you’re not familiar with Figaro, let me give you a short background about the company. Figaro actually started out in 1993 as a small kiosk in the Glorietta Mall that sells coffee. The company was so well-received that soon, they included desserts and savory meals in their menu. Now, they have 90 branches both locally and in other countries such as Papua New Guinea, Guam, China, Saudi, and Qatar! They have also acquired two restaurants — Angel’s Pizza and Tien Ma’s Taiwanese Cuisine. Figaro is already on their 23rd year and is still going strong, still coming out with exciting dishes and drinks for their loyal customers!
FIGARO’S EXECUTIVE LUNCH SETS
Last weekend, I was invited by Figaro to try their new lunch sets. Let me introduce them to you!
Salisbury Meatballs
100% ground beef meatballs, topped with mushroom gravy, sided with carrots & green peas and served with Jasmine rice, lemonade, and Salted Caramel Custard.
Figaro has been offering Salisbury Steak to their customers before, but this one is new because it’s made of meatballs. The meatballs were soft, and as a huge fan of mushrooms, I was happy to see that they didn’t scrimp on the ‘shrooms! Of course, the mushroom sauce made the meat taste better, but even without the sauce, the meatballs would still be satisfying on their own.
Lemon Butter Fish Fillet
Pan-fried dory fish fillet, seasoned with lemon, salt & pepper, and topped with lemon butter sauce; sided with carrots and green peas, and served with jasmine rice, lemonade, and Salted Caramel Custard.
This dish is for those who like simple meals with light flavors. I prepare this dish at home, and Figaro’s version is exactly as how I would prepare it. For those who can’t (or don’t want to ) eat meat and would prefer to have seafood, this fish fillet dish is a good choice.
Grilled Pork Belly BBQ
BBQ marinated pork belly grilled to perfection topped with special BBQ sauce and served with Java rice, coleslaw, lemonade, and salted caramel custard.
The grilled pork belly is very tender, and goes well with the hickory barbecue sauce, which is the chef’s own recipe. The combo of the soft pork belly and the crunchy coleslaw makes it an even more interesting meal. I never thought that these two would be a tasty tandem!
Gourmet Embotido
Four slices of pure chicken embotido – a mixture of 12 main secret ingredients and served with jasmine rice, tomato, lettuce, cucumber & sliced hard-boiled egg, chili-sweet sauce, lemonade, and Salted Caramel Custard.
This is a dish that will surely be loved by all Filipinos. Traditional embotidos have egg inside, but Figaro’s version separates the egg from the actual embotido so that the egg will have a longer shelf life. This was my favorite out of the four. It was pretty unique and the colors are so festive!
The Salted Caramel Custard is made of salted caramel, custard, and graham crackers, topped with nuts. Yum! I really enjoyed this! It was light and had the right amount of sweetness. Too bad this only comes with the lunch sets and is not sold separately!
ALL-DAY LUNCH AT FIGARO
For a filling and complete meal which already includes a drink and dessert, you can’t go wrong with Figaro’s Executive Lunch Sets! And for the price of PHP 249, you know you’re really getting quality food. Sure, they’re not exactly “diet food,” but they are still healthier options, and you can trust that the ingredients are fresh and carefully prepared.
Figaro’s Executive Lunch Sets are available all day, not just during lunch time! This is why I love hanging out at Figaro. If I want coffee or a drink, they have a wide selection of delicious beverages I can choose from. If I get hungry, I don’t need to transfer to another coffee shop or restaurant for a quick bite because they also have delicious dishes. In fact, I go to Figaro more for their pastas and pizza than their drinks (though the drinks are great too!). Figaro is like an “office” to me. I can stay there and work there all day if I want to because everything I need is there — drinks, food, AND free Wi-Fi! Some coffee shops don’t even have free Wi-Fi, and some do but will require you to have a special card. When I’m at Figaro, I don’t feel the need to be anywhere else!
For your next lunch break, or just when you need to enjoy a good and inexpensive meal, you can go over to any of these Figaro branches and try one of their new Executive Lunch Sets:
- Greenbelt
- Glorietta
- Liberty
- DBP
- Tomas Morato

Food looks yummy! Matcha latte looks stunning. That said, I’m very disappointed that there isn’t even 1 of those 4 lunch sets that’s vegetarian! 🙁

Looks like complete balanced food, The vegetables added has enhanced the value of the food. I will be happy to try this combo some time.
Great discovery! Figaro is really one of the places to take your co-workers and bosses to. I love that the provide full meals, and also drinks. That way you can choose between lunch or coffee appointments 🙂
Great lunch set for the price, you made me hungry after reading, hahaha, do have branch in Cebu? I’ve seen Shangri-la, I’ve wondered if they have it here in Shangri-la Cebu, that matcha latte is tempting
Figaro is again stepping up the game from cofees to desserts to this. I like the idea of executive lunch sets and perfect for client meetings outside the office. It also give convenience to those who are time constrained and wont be able to prepare a decent meal before hand. 🙂
I’ve never heard of Figaro! I don’t think they have them in the States. But I would like to eat the chicken or pork belly lunch sets. They look yummy! So does the salted caramel custard!

I love dining in at Figaro. Love its lighting effects and of course its beverages. We also tried a few of their meals and.we werent disappointed. They serve real.heavy dishes. I find their price a little expensive though but then again, with the quality of their food and service, I guess its worth it.

Oh wow! I remember back in college there is a Figaro kiosk in our building and we used to go there on breaks and I always buy a muffin. Now they have executive linch sets! Looking at all of them I’m already drooling. What caught my eye was the lemon butter fish fillet which I bet is delicious! I love fish fillet and with lemon butter?! Ohmy, heaven!
I didn’t know Figaro has new meals. I was just there 2 days ago with my son who ordered the tapa meal while i go for my favorite pasta ala carlo. Those looks scrumptious! Maybe in our branch here its not yet available. Would love to try all these soon! 🙂
Wow. Didn’t know figaro is a home grown resto here in the Philippines. The company has really been a success in terms of how big it has grown. And I didn’t know they offer scrumptious lunches too! I will check it out one of these days. 🙂
This is truly an executive boat load of food. This made me hungry as I’m about to have my lunch in a while. I didn’t know that Figaro offer this food and will surely check this if I get the chance to amble around Ayala Cebu this week. I like how you captured your photos and its actually rhyme to your words. This must be something I should really try.

I’ve heard that name before… Figaro… I guess the olive oil that we buy is manufactured by this company called Figaro. However I wonder if this is the same company or not.
Anyways, meal looks quite colorful, tempting and complete with a balance of veges and meat. Would have loved to see at least one complete vegetarian dish though… 🙂
I would love to try Grilled Pork Belly BBQ together with the Salt Caramel Custard. And I know after reading your blog, i’ll do my best to try these foods ‘coz as of now, I can’t really afford it. But thank you for giving me ideas and because of the pictures, I thought that i’m eating it already! Godbless and more power to your blog 😍😘
Hello Ms. Nadine, thanks for sharing this to us. I find this review very helpful to people like me who are hesitant of trying out new meals. When I get interested with a new dish, I actually look for feedbacks or reviews like this to read before trying out so as not to disappoint my taste buds and wallet. 🙂 Among the Figaro`s Executive Lunch Sets, I would love to try first the Gourmet Embotido because I love embotidos and eggs as my viands since I was a kid. It`s really interesting to try since the egg is separated from the embotido which is something new to me. I also find it healthy since it is served with tomato, cucumber and lettuce. When it comes to rice, I prefer the plain one so it`s a very good thing that this is matched with jasmine rice. I think this mouth-watering Gourmet Embotido is a must-try for my family, 🙂
God bless Ms. Nadine, keep it up!

The 4 set of meals look so yummy! 😋 I would definitely try Lemon Butter Fish Fillet first because cream dory is Life to me. I so so love dory, I can survive eating this fish alone. Plus, this meal is serve with Salted Caramel Custard.. All my comfort foods in one set of meal, what more can I ask for? Can’t wait for weekend to come! I will surely visit Figaro in Glorietta this Saturday! Thanks for sharing this! 😍
Everything was mouthwatering but the first dish that I would like to try is Lemon Butter Fish Fillet. I really miss eating good quality fish. I came from the province and ever since I came to Manila, I always eat pork or chicken. I’m in need of a break, I just want to eat fish, lots of fish. I can almost imagined the umami taste coming out it.

These look very delicious! I agree that there’s not much here anymore that sells healthy food options. I wanted to start with my diet, but I couldn’t because there are not so many healthy foods being sold. I think there’s a Figaro branch here in Cebu – might be looking for one and try these sets, if they have it available. 🙂
What more can I say? A well-known restaurant is once again exceeding the people’s expectations! Figaro is not just a coffeehouse chain that coffee enthusiasts would want to go to, rather, even food aficionados would want to consider this place as their home. Among the four lunch sets, I would want to have the Grilled Pork Belly BBQ. Personally, porks are nothing for me not unless it has a good sauce to be its partner in crime. And since, this grilled pork belly is being served with the touch of BBQ sauce, I am counting on it! Hence, to avoid fatty carbs would not be my thing, as long as I could taste the smoky haze of Grilled Pork Belly BBQ and revive my soul and belly back home. I believe that there would be no tasteful lies on that plate, underneath its dome of java rice and coleslaw, because even in picture, it makes me drool for lunch! Agh, what a pig-out place in this world full of fast food chains!!!!
